Rosalie Wardell, ISA AM, is an accredited personal property appraiser providing fine art, antiques, and decorative arts appraisals. Rosalie has worked in the fine art and photography field for over 20 years. Educated at the University of East Anglia and the Sorbonne, Paris, Rosalie studied art and photography at UC Berkeley, and with Robert Mapplethorpe, Richard Misrach and Ralph Gibson. She is USPAP compliant, and accredited with the International Society of Appraisers, with specialties in Fine Art, and in Antiques and Residential Contents.
Marcus Wardell, ISA AM, has worked for over 20 years in the art and antiques world. He is a principal at Wardell Appraisals, a full service personal property and advisory firm, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Educated at the University of Wales, and the International Society of Appraisers at Northern Illinois University. Marcus has been a board member and Vice President of the Foundation for Appraisal Education. He has served as a board member of the San Francisco Art Institute Arts Council, and the East Bay Estate Planning Council. Previously Marcus worked for Bonhams, an international auction house. He is an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers and is current with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Marcus lectures on Fine and Decorative Arts, and has appeared on media outlets including ABC, CBS, FOX, Fuji Television Network, Japan, NBC, PBS, AP, and NPR. He has been interviewed and quoted in printed news media including the Associated Press, the Australian, Boston Globe, Business Week, the Chicago Sun Times, China Post, Daily Mail UK, Forbes, the Guardian UK, Houston Chronicle, Huffington Post, New Zealand Herald, Oakland Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, San Francisco Chronicle, Taiwan News, and the Washington Post.
